What are Public Performance Rights (PPR)?
Public Performance Rights (PPR) are the legal rights to publicly show a film or video (media).
PPRs are required for:
All screenings of copyrighted media to audiences outside of the regular curriculum.
What is a Digital Site License (DSL)?
A DSL grants educational institutions and/or non-profit organizations a limited license to host and stream a film online to students, faculty and staff on a password-protected server. A link from Video on Demand link through Vimeo and password will be provided. This license is granted for three years.
For theatrical screenings, we will supply you with a password protected Video on Demand link through Vimeo for your screening. we ship either a DCP (extra cost), a hard drive, a BluRay DVD (extra cost).
Shipping and handling will be charged on all orders shipped. Media will be shipped no less than 7 days prior to your event. You will receive a tracking number when the media is shipped. Media must be returned within 7 days after your event.
