North Dakota Human Rights Film & Arts Festival

Dodging Bullets was honored to have been selected to screen at the North Dakota Human Rights Film and Art Festival in Bismarck North Dakota.

The mission of the North Dakota Human Rights Film & Arts Festival is to educate, engage and facilitate discussion around local and word-wide human rights topics through the work of filmmakers and artists.

This was one of our favorite festivals of the season. Kathy Broere was able to attend the screening in Bismarck and speak before and after the film. There were discussion circles after the film to help further continue the discussion about historical trauma among the community members in the area.

Dodging Bullets was award the The Samuel Sprynczynatyk Storyteller Award: Best Documentary Feature.
